This is a picture I took back in January 2008 in Pucón when my dad and step-mom were visiting me for the first time in Chile. I like this picture because it is very peaceful and reminds me of that trip. We travelled by bus around the lake district visiting Puerto Varas, parts of Chiloé, Valdivia, and Pucón. It was a fun trip because we got to see a lot of beautiful places in Chile and spend some quality time together, even my birthday!

My favourite time of day is when the sun is setting. In fact, I have many pictures of sunsets that I have taken. I love how the atmosphere changes as if the world is slowing down, which you can really see in this picture with the soft colours and calm water.  Every time I go to Pucón I try to catch the sunset in this same spot.
