Post 3 - My favourite piece of technology

 

This week you are going to write about your favourite piece of technology. 

Describe it, but don't tell us what it is. Tell us about:

• When you got it.
• How you use it.
• How often you use it.

• What life would be like without it.

Below is my example.

My mom gave me my first one for Christmas when I was 21. I didn't use it for many years because it is a bit expensive to use. I bought another one a couple years ago and now I couldn't live without it. I use it everyday, sometimes twice a day. 

It has 3 parts. I fill the bottom with water and the middle section with the most important substance. Then, I attach the top part and heat it up on the stove. When it is ready it makes a sound and steam comes out of the top. 

I've tried many other gadgets for preparing this but I've found that this one produces the best quality. I sometimes take it with me when I travel. Life without this gadget is possible because there are many shops that sell this product. However, I usually need to have this before I leave my house in the morning or else I will be tired and grumpy.
